My JQ4 download keeps saying my “VIP code” isn’t valid or keeps asking for the code. What’s going on?

Your code is valid. This message usually appears because Vimeo doesn’t recognize that you’re logged into your account.

For the download link to work, try logging into Vimeo before entering the code.

Please try the following:

• If you backed previous JourneyQuest campaigns, your digital downloads were delivered through Vimeo, which means you likely already have a Vimeo account. Please log into that existing account first, then re-enter your JQ4 code.

• If you don’t have an account, create one and then enter the code (If you are outside the US, see the note below)

• Avoid private/incognito browsing, which can prevent Vimeo from recognizing your login

In some countries (ie. UK/EU), Vimeo may require age verification to access Vimeo (including during account creation). Some backers are fine completing that process; others prefer not to. Some backers found success using a VPN to complete the account creation process.

If you do not have a Vimeo account, are prompted for age verification, and would rather not complete that process, please email [email protected] with the subject “JQ4 Download Issue”, along with the name and email you used on BackerKit. We’ll make sure you receive your download another way.

How long do I have to complete my survey?

We know that life often throws curveballs, so our policy for every campaign is to keep fulfillment open for a full year after we complete shipping.

When is shipping considered "completed"?

We will begin shipping the first wave of backer rewards once we have all merchandise in the warehouse, and have a reasonable number of completed and processed surveys in hand. We typically find this to be around 90-95%. Shipping is considered completed after we finish the first wave. There are multiple waves after the first shipping wave is complete.

Can I upgrade my pledge?

You are not able to upgrade your pledge HOWEVER, many of the rewards are available for purchase as add-ons!

Tell me about the shipping fees. They seem high.

Tell us about it. When we started this campaign 6 years ago, shipping was much cheaper than it is now, and current events are having a major impact on shipping and manufacturing costs. The shipping costs include warehouse pick-fees for fulfillment, packaging, and shipping, and include an insurance cost.

Is there an option to reduce shipping costs?

We are offering digital versions of many of the rewards, which you can select instead of a physical reward. Electrons are definitely less expensive to deliver.

ELVISH MASTER - Can I select this level if I pledged at Two of the Things or Three of the Things? Can I still coin a word?

Technically, the deadline for coining a word was September 2019, so we had time to get the words into the script. (See Kickstarter Update #27) At this point, it’s not clear whether we will be able to add more words - that will be up to Matt and his availability. If you selected this level please let us know what alternate reward you’d like by updating your survey response and using the field where you put your potential Elvish Word.

Of we are not able to add your word, and you did not list an alternate reward, then we will try to reach out to you for up to a year following the first wave of shipments.

I don't want to perform Age Verification to get my digital download. Is there an alternative?

Yes, there is. All backers at the Digital Download pledge level who are having issues with Vimeo’s Age Verification process will receive an alternative download link to get their download.

Current Estimated Shipping Date: March 2026

We've been waiting to get surveys from our backers and have hit the "85% of backers have completed their surveys" threshold! We wanted to make sure you were accurately credited, but we also can't wait for 100% of everyone to complete surveys. Don't worry, if you backed, you were credited. The movie is 100% complete, and has been digitally distributed. The Disc is in mastering and when done, will go to manufacturing. The biggest current roadblocks to delivery are getting the disc mastered and the cover art completed. The digital download of JQ4 has been sent out! We are preparing the remaining movies for distribution as well.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.

Thank you for supporting our project! We’re incredibly grateful for the support of our backers—your enthusiasm makes our work possible.

Please review the following terms and conditions before completing your BackerKit survey. By submitting your survey, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Survey Completion

By completing this survey, you confirm your shipping address, reward selections, and any add-ons. It is your responsibility to provide accurate information. If your address changes, you must update it before the survey deadline. We cannot guarantee delivery to addresses that were not updated in time.

2. Reward Fulfillment

We are committed to delivering all rewards in alignment with the original spirit of the campaign. That said, due to ongoing challenges stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, manufacturing limitations, and other safety or logistical concerns, some rewards—particularly physical goods and in-person experiences—may have been modified to ensure successful fulfillment.

In these cases, changes were made with care and with the intent to improve quality, reduce waste, or enhance convenience for backers—such as combining formats or using more compact, user-friendly packaging. Our goal is always to provide a final product that meets or exceeds the value and experience we originally promised.

We appreciate your understanding and flexibility. As always, production and shipping timelines are estimates and may shift due to unforeseen circumstances, but we’ll keep you informed throughout the process.

3. Digital Rewards

If your pledge includes digital rewards, you will receive access via email, through your BackerKit account, or through a direct link—typically delivered by BackerKit or a trusted platform such as Vimeo. Please ensure your email address is correct and check your spam or promotions folder if you do not see the reward when expected. Delivery times may vary depending on the nature of the digital content. Some items may be released after physical rewards if they require additional development or coordination.

4. Shipping and Customs

Shipping costs are calculated in the survey based on your location. You are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or additional fees charged by your country. We have no control over these charges and cannot estimate them in advance. If your package is returned due to unpaid customs, incorrect address, or failure to claim it, additional shipping fees may apply for resending.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

As with most crowdfunding campaigns, all pledges are considered final. Because funds are used immediately to produce and fulfill rewards, we are unable to offer refunds through BackerKit.

That said, if a manufacturing or fulfillment issue arises, we’ll do our best to resolve it within a reasonable timeframe. While we can’t accommodate requests based on changes in personal preference or circumstances, we’re always happy to work with you if something goes wrong. Please don’t hesitate to reach out—we want you to be satisfied with your experience.

6. Product Changes

Some minor changes to product design, packaging, or materials may occur during manufacturing. These changes will not affect the core function or value of the reward. We reserve the right to make such adjustments if necessary for quality, safety, or logistical reasons.

7. Communication

By completing this survey, you agree to receive updates regarding your rewards through email and/or the BackerKit system. We will not share your personal information with third parties, except as required to fulfill your rewards (e.g., shipping and distribution partners). If you unsubscribe from communications, you may miss important updates about your reward delivery.

8. Add-On Purchases

Any add-ons selected through BackerKit are considered additional to your original pledge level. By completing the survey, you agree to pay for all selected add-ons, as well as any associated shipping fees, taxes, or import duties. These charges are calculated based on your location and selections and must be paid in full before your rewards can be fulfilled.

Digital add-ons (such as downloads or streaming access) may be delivered via email, BackerKit, or a trusted third-party platform such as Vimeo. These are fulfilled separately from physical items and may have different delivery timelines depending on the content and platform.

If shipping costs for your add-ons significantly increase after you complete your survey, we will notify you in advance. If you do not wish to pay the adjusted amount, you may cancel the affected add-on(s) for a full refund of those specific items before fulfillment.

Zombie Orpheus Entertainment reserves the right to adjust shipping fees if unforeseen costs arise, but we will always do our best to communicate any changes clearly and promptly.

9. Survey Deadlines and Shipping Timeline

We will begin shipping the first wave of backer rewards once we have received all merchandise in our warehouse and have a reasonable number of completed and processed surveys in hand. In most cases, this occurs once approximately 90–95% of surveys have been completed. Shipping is considered “complete” at the end of the first wave; however, additional shipping waves may follow for late surveys or replacement needs.

Surveys will remain open for one (1) year after the completion of the first wave of shipping. Backers who complete their survey after the first wave may receive their rewards in a later wave and may be responsible for increased shipping or handling fees if applicable.
